Monday Mourning

Yes, that's a play on words. I'm mourning my sleep. Its 7am on a Monday morning and I am shattered! I have been up since six to do honours homework, which in reality only took me ten minutes... What is this?! Reading the Odyssey can be such a bore! I mean for real... This dude, is having so much bad luck in his boat, why doesn't he just walk home! Catch a ride from one island to the next and then just walk back to Ithaka! Damn, it isn't hard!

Just last night I came home from my weekend with dad. He was the one who reminded me to write this time! Aha, he said he was going to start checking more often as the move comes closer... I guess that means I should start writing more. Not making excuses but that probably won't happen in the next two weeks. Its the final rehearsals before opening night of 'You're A Good Man - Charlie Brown.' So yeah, writing a lot probably won't happen, because I won't be getting home from school till seven every evening and when I do it'll be shower time to get all the stage make-up off  my face! It's coming along nicely now, got all my lines down, just going to work on my little solo part! It isn't at all that much, but Hey! at least I got one! Pahah!

I', finding it really funny how I have more to say in the morning on a Monday that I do in the evenings. My hands are starting to hurt form typing so much! But oh well, at least I'm getting this stuff down and not just thinking it!

I'm going to have a lot to be writing down this week, I have an essay due today that I finished up last night and I have another due on Friday! My English teacher's really gotta realize how much work she gives out. Hers isn't the only class we take! I have to do all the homework she gives me, all the homework for every other class I have and learn a Broadway musical. On top of that I want to be able to go out on the weekends to see my friends as there isn't much time left! It's Louisiana again now... Well, it's looking that way.. It started as Louisiana, then it was Colorado, then Texas, then Colorado, the Florida, now Louisiana again. Damn. I might as well say to people I'm living on a cloud of something!

Cotillion is on Saturday, but I'm not sure if I want to go or not... I mean, Saturday I was planning on dying my hair again for the production. The Sunday we have afternoon rehearsals again, 1 - 5 this time though. I don't even have a dress that I could wear for that... Maybe I can just skip, I'll dye my hair and see if Yo is planning on going, if he isn't we could have a lazy evening or something and watch movies, I don't know?

The following Saturday is the day after closing night, and the cast and crew of the production are having a party at Kemps place. (Kemp is our teacher.) However, I can't go. Mum made plans to take us down to Orpington to see family that day. So, I have to skip the after party for something I've worked really hard on these past six months. Yeah, I don't think it's all that fair either. But what mum says goes. There is no chance of me getting out of this one.

Half an hour now till I have to leave for school. It's quarter past seven. I don't have a  long walk to my bus stop, two minutes-ish. Depends on the weather, if its icy, it takes me a while longer! I live a mile from the base gate, which is useful, because if I miss the bus, I still get to school on time. I can also just walk up to the base if I want to meet up with some friends. Its great! I can also stay after school and just walk home, because It's staying lighter for longer now, so I have until 6.30 before the sun starts to go down, which give me plenty of time to walk home.

One colour left to start of this paragraph, so I'm just going to ramble for a few until the size of it is sufficient enough to look like a decent paragraph. I'm going to open the curtains and see if the cows are back in the field at the end of the garden yet. I doubt they are... But I haven't looked in a while so they might be! Nope. They aren't, and it rained last night, joy! That means I'm going to have to wear a jumper today! Meh.

Well, that looks big enough!

Getting Better

Okay. So I know I'm totally not the best at writing every week, but at least I'm getting better. Honestly, I wouldn't be writing this if Yo hadn't reminded me. Thanks!

So, life is really busy at the moment. Its Valentines day in two days and Dad and Cathy are getting married (YAY!). I have a whole bucket load of honours homework to do and no time to do it in... Essay after essay, and booklets to fill in and I have to read the Odyssey and other boring books and blergh! This quarter is going to be a mess! Hopefully will still be able to keep up my 4.0 GPA otherwise I'm going to die! I had that all last semester... I was so proud, and so was my mum, she posted it all over Facebook... The number of people congratulating me and telling me I'd be getting into posh universities was un-countable!

Yo and I are still going strong as ever! Our four months was six days ago, its great! He just recently got his eyebrow pierced and it looks AMAZING! I absolutely love it! Unfortunately he dropped out of band, the only class we had together to take Government, but that's totally understandable.

Is it bad I'm running out of things to say already...?

Have I said anything about being in drama club? Probably not, well I am. We are doing a production of 'You're A Good Man - Charlie Brown'. I play Frieda. It's pretty cool. I have a few speaking lines and a little solo in one of the songs, but its nothing big or anything! Elise is Sally, she has an amazing voice! Its really quite something! She just gets nervous around people... Which is a shame, because she should show it off!

I'm getting side tracked. Later guys!

Damn It!

Sorry guys! Totally gotta remember to update you all more often! So much for writing at least once a week... I can't even remember the last time i wrote, even though this site tells you... Ahah! Did I write about home coming...? About Johannes and I...? Probably not so I'll just write about it again...

Home coming was amazing! I've seen them in the films, read about it in books but when you actually get down to going, on the night, all dressed up, with your date... Gob-smacking. Leaves you completely speechless... My dress was lime green, and cleavage-y. It had cross straps and was tight down to my belly button then it poofed out a bit. I had this weird flower thingy in my hair, I'm not sure if I liked it or not, it did get in my way a bit, but oh well. I was wearing the shoes I wore to mum and Chris' wedding, they were pumps and were glittery, a cream colour. Yo (Johannes) was looking very fine in his suit.

I stole the jacket after the dance because it was cold when we were walking back to the car, kept it for the night, his sister, Elise, is my best friend, and she was staying the night at mine, so when she was going home, I gave them the jacket back. However,  whilst we were at the dance, Yo and I decided to go sit down in the side room, we wanted some quiet, and were told not once, but twice, that we were too comfortable. In other words, we were sat to close to each other and we were public-ally displaying affection. Though the first time, I did have my legs over his lap, and the second we were sat in a one seat arm chair and i was on his lap... So I guess were were a bit 'comfortable'...

In case you didn't guess already, Johannes and I are dating. October 6th we 'became an item'. He is the cutest! This is how it happened: I had been talking to his sister and I let it slip that I thought he was really cute and I wanted to talk to him, so Elise told me she'd see what she could do for me. Though she didn't really. I messaged him on Facebook saying 'Hey' and I asked his if Elise had said anything, Yo then told me, she hadn't. So I told him what I'd been thinking about, we got talking, and, it happened. It wasn't an asking,'Will you go out with me?' thing, it was more like a 'we both like each other, we have been holding hands, lets try this' and nearly two months later, here we are! Doing really well, if I may say so.

He just left my house actually, a few hours ago. He biked up from his place and we watched half a movie. He couldn't stay long, it's a long journey and he had to be home before it got too dark. It was nice to see him for and hour though, I love spending time with him, it makes my day every time. His smile is just the cutest! As you can see from the picture, his hair is wild! I just love taking his hair ties out and poof-ing it up! Its so sexy!

Unfortunately, my arm is starting to hurt from typing too much! Catch you guys tomorrow hopefully, though it is thanks giving!

Woah!

Guys! Hey! Oh my gosh! I have been so busy at my new school I have had hardly anytime spare! Not because I have a lot of homework or anything, I do but, I am on the tennis team so I don't get home till a quarter to six every night! Then on Tuesdays its eight before I'm home because I do Club Beyond... Sometimes I can get home even later than that! Its brilliant, I'm so busy now and surprisingly its brilliant!

School is great, I know a bunch of people now, and the teachers are really nice. They use this program called Grade Speed, which is pretty much where the teachers put your grades in a computer and they put them online so you can access them at home. Its good because it shows where you need to work harder and everything... I have 6 'A's' and 1 'B'. Which I think is pretty good, though I would like to get that 'B' up to an 'A' quickly... My favourite subjects have to be Art, Band and PE. The Art teacher is really lovely! She lent me money so I could get my homecoming dress on a school trip! Its lovely! (I'll post a picture after the dance!) Band is great, though I can't reach some of the high notes on my flute, the teacher is really understanding and doesn't force you to try and get them, he gave me a piece which was lower (and easier) but I'm cool with that once I get this piece down I can try the harder part again... PE. Well... It is hard work, Run a mile once a month, push-ups, sit-ups... But we play Volleyball and Floor Hockey! I love it! I get so into it and the classes are mixed, so there are boys and girls which I think works better because then everyone is trying their best and we are getting really good results!

I just got back from a weekend away with the schools tennis team. We travelled to Brussels and played against two schools there, Brussels and S.H.A.P.E. I wasn't expecting to do very well, as I have only been playing a few weeks and I'm fourteenth in the rankings... However, I won two of the three games I played! It was great! Me and Tori played a game against Brussels which had to be cut sort after only four sets. We won 3-1. Then Bradley and I played a friendly against S.H.A.P.E and lost 3-8... But then Me and Courtney played against them again, and we beat the 8-4! It was a great success as they have a really good tennis team who practice non-stop. We left the school (here in England) super early just after 5am and drove all the way there, played for a few hours, got back on the coach and went to Pizza Hut! While we were in Pizza Hut, Bradley and I realized we had forgotten towels so we ran around IKEA getting lost at every corner with our tennis coach to get towels so we could shower once we had reached S.H.A.P.E. The girls stayed in the gym at the school and the guys spent the night in a corridor just outside the building.

Anywaay... Should post this now as it's been sat in editing for nearly a month.
